Came To My Rescue

PLC's Senior School Swimming Sports was held yesterday. And guess what? Glamis' Year 10 only had about 6 swimmers. I KNOW. How annoying and irresponsible of those who just "didn't feel like it".

So obviously, some people had to do more than their share. People like Adela. That girl is a legend, I swear. She swam for everything, literally. All the Year 10 events. Even the championship 100m freestyle. And she got placings for most of them. WOW. How good is she?!

As for me, I'm just happy I participated. Didn't get placings for freestyle, or breast stroke, or the freestyle relay. But at least I didn't get last! ;) And I have 2 first place ribbons for the novelty events. They just say "swimming" - makes it look more important than it is! Much thanks to fast swimmers like Adela and Alex.

Also thanks a lot to Li Ann who TRIED to teach me how to dive. I failed. Badly. But Adela said I improved throughout the 3 races though. So I guess I didn't do that badly for a first-timer. :P

Anyhow, school's okay. Commerce is being such a nuisance though. It's a packed term!

Back in Melbourne again. Seriously, time flies so fast, it's not even funny.

The start of something new

It's our 51st post, that's why it's the start of something new. BUT. We also discovered something new. And we're very proud of ourselves. This is to Zyang and Xyang who completely brushed off our findings at 4am this morning.

We are very hurt that you guys didn't see fit to tell us, and we had to go through all the trouble to figure it out ourselves. Not that that was very hard to do. Now we know your secret! The signs have been too obvious. ( and yet xyang and zyang refused to believe us )

Bonkers

Went for Xavier College Boarders' Social last night. What to say? It was kind of boring at the start because the songs weren't really good. Then in the middle there were song requests and the songs got better. Then at the end it was...not so good again. Oh by the way, Xavier College is GORGEOUS. They even have a perfect, unobstructed view of the city skyline. hmph.

The pictures will speak for themselves. Mind you, none of them were actually taken AT the social. It was all while we were waiting for the bus to come and take us to the college. So yea.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAE!!!

The youngest(but most matured) one amongst us is finally 16, as of today!
Rae, you really are an awesome friend.
Such a great friend that, I'm lost for words. Though I'm quite sure the minute I switch off the computer, I can think of what to write.
But yes, I think you already know how great you are and like Juin said, you really are a blessing :)
Really glad I met you, you know? your sensibility rationality is one of your best points!

goodbye winter, hello spring :)

After tonight, my birthday will be over, and the excitement will fade away.

Before that, however, I just want to thank everyone for all the wishes, cards, presents, and songs, whether real life or virtual. Everyone from both Malaysia and PLC. :)

D-Floor girls just threw me a massive surprise. All thanks to Wen Lin Ong & Li Ann Mah. They rushed back from school to go to Safeway to get me a cake. So, I got two cakes today :) Thank God I live with many people. I am surprised I was surprised. I suppose it was because Li Ann practically dragged me out of the shower and kept on hassling me. In my heart I was like Raelene Tan. Hurry up. The candles are gonna eat your cake up. And you made the most noise. Gahhhh. HAHAHAHA. but it was great fun. I agree. I still can't believed I was surprised.

Thanks again to everyone who made this day special for me. I really appreciate it.
